I thought of the many transitions that I personally have been through in the last months. There were transitions that affected my ministry, family, and our personal lives in many ways.

Oh, but God, and His infinite mercy and grace! What could have been, and started out to be devastating, God has turned around for our good.

How does God turn things around? He turns our situations when we trust in Him and believe His Word. I ran to Him and threw my self at His feet with each jolt that came up on a daily basis. I repeated Proverbs 3:5-8 often in the day and night time hours.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths. Do not be wise in your own eyes; fear the Lord and depart from evil, It will be health to your flesh and strength to your bones."

There were times that others made choices that affected me, my ministry and my family, that I could do nothing about. But only God can give peace and assurance that His plan and destiny will come to pass.

I can tell you at this moment God has taken each situation and kept us on track in His love. As my husband has said "we didn't quit, we just changed lanes."

I am persuaded that God loves us and He believes in all that He has placed within us, and He is faithful to finish what He has started in our lives.

He is Father God who loves you and has a "real" plan for you. Let me encourage you to trust Him through the pain and the tears, and yes sometimes broken relationships. When we give it to Him and trust His Word, God will turn situations around for your good.

I want to encourage you to take the time and write a love letter to God and thank Him for His goodness in your life this year.
