I am God's Child -
John 1:12
Some years ago I had a relative say to me that the way to get to heaven was like going to the post office. There were several different roads one could take, and they all would get you there.
The Word is very clear on how to get to heaven. There are not many routes, there is only one way and His name is Jesus. In John 14:6 Jesus said, "...I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." Jesus is the only way. You must believe that He is the Son of the living God.
Romans 10:9-10 says, "That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."
You simply ask Jesus to forgive you and to come and live on the inside of your spirit and He does! Wow, it's so easy. Jesus made it that way. He died and took all the shame and death and sin, so we can live free of shame, death and sin.
John 1:12 says, "But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name."
We now belong to God. We have a new life, new future, new family. We are now in the kingdom of God. You are God's child. God loves you; He will never not love you. He has sent Jesus to the earth to die for his mankind so Father God could have a relationship with His man again. He loves you. Dear friend know that God loves you and choose to never, never believe Satan's lie that He does not.
John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world," put your name here, "that He gave his only begotten Son..."
The Bible is God talking to us. Take the word and believe it just like you would believe a trusted friend. Then repeat out loud what the Word says.
Have you ever asked Jesus into you life?
For example say, "For God so loves me that He sent Jesus to die for me, and now I belong to God, I am a child of God, because I confess that Jesus is the Son of God. I am God's child."
"Father I pray for each person who is reading this. I ask you to minister Your love and peace to them and that the Word of God is received with understanding. I praise you for Your joy to begin to rise up in their hearts now in Jesus' name."
